Dr. Castro
Dr. Stephanie Castro is a general dentist who has been in the Austin area since 2019. She attended dental school in Dallas at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Prior to dental school she completed her undergraduate education at Rice University in Houston, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She served as cheerleading captain her senior year at Rice after being a cheerleader for almost 10 years. In dental school, she was class social chair, a member of the Hispanic Dental Association and president of her dental fraternity, Psi Omega.

Dr. Castro is experienced in family dentistry, and her favorite part of dentistry is being able to relieve pain and restore confidence in her patients. Her goal is comprehensive care that is tailored to each individual patient, which focuses on the patient’s goals and priorities, as well as educating and empowering patients to make the best treatment decisions for themselves. She takes a collaborative approach to help patients take steps towards improving their health and confidence. Dr. Castro believes dental visits should be comfortable, pain-free and informative.

Outside of the office, Dr. Castro is busy with two kids at home. She listens to true crime podcasts in her downtime and enjoys cardio barre, yoga and trying new restaurants.
