Dr. Basora was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. Afterwards, she received her degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the School of Dentistry, Medical Sciences Campus, University of Puerto Rico. She continued her studies by successfully completing a General Practice Residence with the New York Medical College, where she practiced general dentistry for a full year in New York, NY.
Afterwards, she established her private practice in Puerto Rico and served her community for 12 years. During her practice, she found her calling of serving and helping children and applied to the Pediatric Residence Program of the School of Dentistry, Medical Sciences Campus, University of Puerto Rico where she graduated.
On September 13, 2017, Dr. Basora was certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentists as a Board-Certified Specialist. Dr. Basora speaks Spanish and English.
