Dr. Alejandra Romero, DMD
Dr. Romero received her dental degree at the Central University of Venezuela. Her passion for Dentistry brought her to the United States to pursue her dream of becoming a Pediatric Dentist.
She attended Nova Southeastern University and obtained her degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in May 2014, ranking in the top tier of her class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), a National Dental Honor Society. Immediately after dental school, Dr. Romero started her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and received her certificate in June 2016.
During her training Dr. Romero has provided dental care for infants, children and adolescents and children with special health care needs. In addition, Dr Romero has received extensive training in the Management of behavior with Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Inhalation, as well as advanced behavior guidance techniques through the use of non-IV oral conscious sedation and general anesthesia.
Dr. Romero is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
